Overview
Crude steel production of Kazakhstan in 2024 amounted to 4 200 000 tons, which is 7.05% more than in 2023, when it was 3 923 303 tons. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the World Steel Association data, since 1992, the volume of steel production has decreased in 1.35 times. The minimum production of crude steel was recorded in 1994, with a value of 2 968 544 tons. The maximum in Kazakhstan was in 1992, when it reached 5 675 000 tons.
