Air transport registered carrier departures | Kyrgyz Republic – yearly data, chart and table

Number of civil aircraft departures in Kyrgyz Republic in 2021 amounted to 1 498, which is 5.07% less than in 2020, when it was  1 578. It has been falling in this country for already 4 years in a row. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1993, this indicator has decreased in 6.94 times. The lowest number of air transport departures was recorded in 2021, with a value of 1 498. The maximum in Kyrgyz Republic was in 2017, when it reached 27 055 departures.
The air transport data represent the total (international and domestic) scheduled traffic carried by the air carriers registered in a country. For statistical uses, departures are equal to the number of landings made or flight stages flown. A flight stage is the operation of an aircraft from take-off to its next landing. A flight stage is classified as either international or domestic. International flight stage is one or both terminals in the territory of a State, other than the State in which the air carrier has its principal place of business.
