Overview
Number of deaths caused by tuberculosis in Cambodia in 2023 amounted to 3 700, which is 7.5% less than in 2022, when it was 4 000 cases. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, the annual TB mortality in Cambodia has decreased in 1.43 times. The highest mortality rate was in 2000, when it reached 5 300 deaths. The minimum of Cambodia was recorded in 2020, with a value of 2 800 cases. All values are approximate.
