Outbound tourism departures | South Korea – yearly data, chart and table

The outbound tourism departures from South Korea in 2022 amounted to 6 554 000, which is 435.9% more than in 2021, when it was  1 223 000 departures. This is the first year of growth after a decline. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 1995, this indicator has increased in 1.72 times. The lowest number of international tourists was recorded in 2021, when it was 1 223 000 departures. The highest value was in 2019, when the outbound tourism departures from South Korea reached 28 714 000.
