Unemployment rate | South Korea – yearly data, chart and table

The unemployment rate in South Korea in 2024 amounted to 2.60% of total labor force. In 2023, the value was  2.68%. It has been falling in this country for already 4 years in a row. Over the entire period of ILOSTAT data since 1991, this indicator has increased in 1.08 times. The lowest percentage of unemployed was recorded in 1996, when it was 2.05. The maximum was in 1998, when number of unempoyed persons in South Korea reached 6.96 % of total labor force.
