Number of deaths caused by tuberculosis in Lebanese Republic in 2023 amounted to 47, which is 2.08% less than in 2022, when it was 48 cases. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, the annual TB mortality in Lebanese Republic has decreased in 1.28 times. The highest mortality rate was in 2014, when it reached 63 deaths. The minimum of Lebanese Republic was recorded in 2006, with a value of 35 cases. All values are approximate.
