Overview
Number of deaths caused by tuberculosis in Libya in 2023 amounted to 890, which is 6.32% less than in 2022, when it was 950 cases. It has been falling in this country for already 3 years in a row. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, the annual TB mortality in Libya has increased in 2.34 times. The highest mortality rate was in 2020, when it reached 1 100 deaths. The minimum of Libya was recorded in 2005, with a value of 160 cases. All values are approximate.
