Foreign direct investment intflows | Sri Lanka – yearly data, chart and table

Foreign direct investment inflows of Sri Lanka in 2024 amounted to 761.14 million USD, which is 6.75% more than in 2023, when it was  713.01 million USD. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to UNCTAD statistics, since 1990, the foreign direct investment inflows has increased in 17.56 times. The lowest value was recorded in 1990, with a value of 43.35 million USD. The maximum foreign investment inflows to economics of Sri Lanka was in 2018, when it reached 1 614.04 million USD.
