Number of inbound tourism arrivals | Lithuania

The inbound tourism arrivals to Lithuania in 2024 amounted to 5 034 500, which is 8.96% less than in 2023, when it was  5 530 100 arrivals. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 1995, this indicator has increased in 1.94 times. The lowest annual international tourist flow was recorded in 2004, when it was 1 814 000 arrivals. The highest value was in 2019, when the inbound tourism arrivals to Lithuania reached 6 150 000.
These values come from a new data collection process using a single questionnaire. Since the new processing system is still being phased in, some data points may not completely reflect the final standards yet.
