Inbound tourism arrivals | Macau – yearly data, chart and table

The inbound tourism arrivals to Macau in 2024 amounted to 34 928 650, which is 23.8% more than in 2023, when it was  28 213 003 arrivals. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 1995, this indicator has increased in 4.51 times. The lowest annual international tourist flow was recorded in 2022, when it was 5 700 339 arrivals. The highest value was in 2019, when the inbound tourism arrivals to Macau reached 39 406 000.
These values come from a new data collection process using a single questionnaire. Since the new processing system is still being phased in, some data points may not completely reflect the final standards yet.
