Passenger transportation by air | Morocco – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Morocco in 2021 amounted to 4 740 714, which is 57.38% more than in 2020, when it was  3 012 310 passengers. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1970, the volume of air transport passengers has increased in 16.38 times. The lowest number was recorded in 1970, with a value of 289 500 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Morocco was in 2019, when it reached 9 380 951 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
