Overview
The gas energy consumption in Republic of Macedonia in 2024 reached 0.0119 EJ, which is 5.74% less than in 2023, when consumption volume was 0.0127 EJ. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. According to the Statistical Review of World Energy, since 1998, the consumption volume of gas primary energy has increased in 17.31 times. The lowest level of consumption in Republic of Macedonia was recorded in 1998, with a value of 0.0007 EJ. The maximum energy consumption from gas was in 2021, when it reached 0.0149 EJ. The Statistical Review of World Energy is published annually in the last decade of June by the Energy Institute (EI). From 1952 to 2022, this dataset on global energy production, consumption, and emissions was published by BP.
