Foreign direct investment intflows | Malta – yearly data, chart and table

Foreign direct investment inflows of Malta in 2024 amounted to 5 370.67 million USD, which is 191.94% more than in 2023, when it was  1 839.66 million USD. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to UNCTAD statistics, since 1990, the foreign direct investment inflows has increased in 117.28 times. The lowest value was recorded in 2019, with a value of -1 970.93 million USD. The maximum foreign investment inflows to economics of Malta was in 2007, when it reached 39 620.09 million USD.
