Outbound tourism departures | Malta – yearly data, chart and table

The outbound tourism departures from Malta in 2022 amounted to 695 000, which is 102.03% more than in 2021, when it was  344 000 departures. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 1995, this indicator has increased in 4.26 times. The lowest number of international tourists was recorded in 2002, when it was 157 000 departures. The highest value was in 2019, when the outbound tourism departures from Malta reached 774 000.
