Air transport registered carrier departures | Montenegro – yearly data, chart and table

Number of civil aircraft departures in Montenegro in 2021 amounted to 20, which is 99.72% less than in 2019, when it was  7 192. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 2001, this indicator has decreased in 120.55 times. The lowest number of air transport departures was recorded in 2021, with a value of 20. The maximum in Montenegro was in 2010, when it reached 10 064 departures.
The air transport data represent the total (international and domestic) scheduled traffic carried by the air carriers registered in a country. For statistical uses, departures are equal to the number of landings made or flight stages flown. A flight stage is the operation of an aircraft from take-off to its next landing. A flight stage is classified as either international or domestic. International flight stage is one or both terminals in the territory of a State, other than the State in which the air carrier has its principal place of business.
