The international outbound tourism expenditure of Montenegro in 2024 amounted to 119.85 million USD, which is 20.83% more than in 2023, when it was 99.19 million USD. It has been growing in this country for already 4 years in a row. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 2007, this indicator has increased in 2.07 times. The lowest annual international outbound tourism expenditure recorded in 2020, when it was 37.70 million USD. The maximum value was in 2024, when the expenditure of outbound tourists from Montenegro reached 119.85 million USD.
These values come from a new data collection process using a single questionnaire. Since the new processing system is still being phased in, some data points may not completely reflect the final standards yet.
