Passenger transportation by air | Mozambique – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Mozambique in 2021 amounted to 411 739, which is 25.63% more than in 2020, when it was  327 742 passengers. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1975, the volume of air transport passengers has increased in 3.45 times. The lowest number was recorded in 1975, with a value of 119 500 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Mozambique was in 2014, when it reached 739 637 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
