Cropland area | Mozambique – yearly data, chart and table

Cropland area of Mozambique in 2023 amounted to 6 048 500 ha, which is 0.215% more than in 2022, when it was  6 035 500 ha. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the area of arable land (land under temporary crops) plus land under perennial crops has increased in 2.28 times. The minimum cropland area recorded in 1961, with a value of 2 649 000 ha. The maximum of Mozambique was in 2017, when it reached 6 066 400 ha.
