Passenger transportation by air | Mauritania – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Mauritania in 2021 amounted to 207 225, which is 105.37% more than in 2020, when it was  100 904 passengers. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1970, the volume of air transport passengers has increased in 2.45 times. The lowest number was recorded in 1972, with a value of 65 900 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Mauritania was in 2010, when it reached 524 818 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
