Arable land area | Montserrat – yearly data, chart and table

Arable land area of Montserrat in 2023 amounted to 2 000 ha, which is  exactly the same as in 2022, when it was also 2 000 ha. . According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the area of arable land has decreased in 2.00 times. The minimum arable land area recorded in 1981, with a value of 1 000 ha. The maximum of Montserrat was in 1963, when it reached 4 000 ha. Arable land includes land defined by the FAO as land under temporary crops (double-cropped areas are counted once), temporary meadows for mowing or for pasture, land under market or kitchen gardens, and land temporarily fallow.
