Overview
Number of deaths from unintentional poisoning in Namibia in 2021 amounted to 1.38 per 100,000 people, which is 2.99% more than in 2020, when it was 1.34. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, this indicator has increased in 1.10 times. The highest mortality from poisoning was in 2015, when it reached 1.43 deaths per 100,000 people. The minimum of Namibia was recorded in 2008, with a value of 1.10 cases per 100,000 people.
