The inbound tourism arrivals to Nigeria in 2024 amounted to 1 296 338, which is 2% more than in 2023, when it was 1 270 920 arrivals. It has been growing in this country for already 4 years in a row. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 1995, this indicator has increased in 1.26 times. The lowest annual international tourist flow was recorded in 1995, when it was 1 031 000 arrivals. The highest value was in 2010, when the inbound tourism arrivals to Nigeria reached 6 113 000.
These values come from a new data collection process using a single questionnaire. Since the new processing system is still being phased in, some data points may not completely reflect the final standards yet.
