The aluminum production of Norway in 2022 amounted to 1 393 000 tons, which is 1.83% less than in 2021, when it was  1 419 000 tons. This is the first year of decline after a period of growth. According to the British Geological Survey statistics, since 1970, the annual volume of aluminum production has increased in 2.63 times. The minimum was recorded in 1971, with a value of 530 000 tons. The maximum production of aluminum in Norway was in 2021, when it reached 1 419 000 tons.
