Agricultural land area | Nepal – yearly data, chart and table

Agricultural land area of Nepal in 2023 amounted to 37 441 km², which is 0.011% less than in 2022, when it was  37 445 km². It has been falling in this country for already 12 years in a row. According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the area of agricultural land has increased in 1.05 times. The minimum agricultural land area recorded in 1966, with a value of 35 530 km². The maximum of Nepal was in 2001, when it reached 42 590 km².
