Number of deaths caused by tuberculosis in New Zealand in 2023 amounted to 14, which is 7.69% more than in 2022, when it was 13 cases. This is the first year of growth after a decline. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, the annual TB mortality in New Zealand has decreased in 1.79 times. The highest mortality rate was in 2004, when it reached 30 deaths. The minimum of New Zealand was recorded in 2012, with a value of 10 cases. All values are approximate.
