Cropland area of Pakistan in 2023 amounted to 30 995 000 ha, which is 0.155% more than in 2022, when it was  30 947 000 ha. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the area of arable land (land under temporary crops) plus land under perennial crops has increased in 1.01 times. The minimum cropland area recorded in 1990, with a value of 30 206 000 ha. The maximum of Pakistan was in 1982, when it reached 33 509 000 ha.
