The nuclear weapons expenditure of Pakistan in 2024 amounted to 1 100 million USD, which is 10% more than in 2023, when it was  1 000 million USD. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons statistics, since 2018, the nuclear weapons spending has decreased in 1.09 times. The lowest expenditure was recorded in 2023, with a value of 1 000 million USD. Estimates of countries’ nuclear weapons expenditures include operating costs, expenses for the development of nuclear warheads, and the development of delivery systems capable of carrying nuclear weapons, where such data are publicly available. The values have been converted from local currency into U.S. dollars at the exchange rate of the corresponding year.
