Passenger transportation by air | Peru – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Peru in 2021 amounted to 9 053 965, which is 58.7% more than in 2020, when it was  5 705 074 passengers. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1970, the volume of air transport passengers has increased in 23.19 times. The lowest number was recorded in 1971, with a value of 263 700 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Peru was in 2019, when it reached 18 820 572 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
