Number of diabetic patients | Papua New Guinea

Number of people with diabetes in 20-79 years age group in Papua New Guinea in 2024 amounted to 838 000, which is 15.75% more than in 2021, when it was  724 000 people. Since 2011, for the whole period of International Diabetes Federation statistics, the diabetic population in Papua New Guinea has increased in 3.87 times. The minimum number of adults aged 20–79 living with diabetes was recorded in 2011, with a value of 216 800.
