Passenger transportation by air | Poland – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Poland in 2021 amounted to 3 676 185, which is 36.85% more than in 2020, when it was  2 686 258 passengers. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1970, the volume of air transport passengers has increased in 4.07 times. The lowest number was recorded in 1982, with a value of 755 500 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Poland was in 2019, when it reached 10 225 516 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
