The estimated population 65 years of age or older in Poland in mid-2025 amounted to 7 915 699 people, which is 1.97% more than in mid-2024, when it was  7 763 107 people. It has been growing in this country for already 41 years in a row. Over the entire period of data from the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs since 1950, this indicator has increased in 6.10 times. The lowest 65+ years old population was recorded in 1950, when it was 1 298 479 people. The maximum number of people 65 years of age or older lived in Poland in 2025 with a value of 7 915 699. The data is sourced from the UN report "World Population Prospects 2024", with the values for 2024 and 2025 being projections.
