Number of diabetic patients | North Korea

Number of people with diabetes in 20-79 years age group in North Korea in 2024 amounted to 2 043 500, which is 10.63% more than in 2021, when it was  1 847 100 people. Since 2011, for the whole period of International Diabetes Federation statistics, the diabetic population in North Korea has increased in 1.36 times. The minimum number of adults aged 20–79 living with diabetes was recorded in 2019, with a value of 1 392 400.
