Passenger transportation by air | Pacific island small states – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in  in 2021 amounted to 449 527, which is 42.9% less than in 2020, when it was  787 300 passengers. It has been falling in this country for already 3 years in a row. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1982, the volume of air transport passengers has decreased in 1.02 times. The lowest number was recorded in 1985, with a value of 435 000 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in  was in 2018, when it reached 2 681 606 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
