Gas proved reserves | Saudi Arabia

The proved natural gas reserves of Saudi Arabia in 2021 reached 9 423 billion m³, which is 3.91% more than in 2020, when it was  9 069 billion cubic metres. It has been growing in this country for already 14 years in a row. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA) data and BP Statistical Review of World Energy, since 1980, the  proved reserves of natural gas has increased in 3.48 times. The minimum of Saudi Arabia was recorded in 1980, with a value of 2 711 billion cubic metres. The maximum proved gas reserves was  in 2021, when it reached 9 423 billion m³.
