The international inbound tourism expenditure in Saudi Arabia in 2024 amounted to 46 338.37 million USD, which is 13.39% more than in 2023, when it was  40 866.09 million USD. It has been growing in this country for already 4 years in a row. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 2003, this indicator has increased in 13.56 times. The lowest annual international inbound tourism expenditure recorded in 2020, when it was 1 219.04 million USD. The maximum value was in 2024, when the expenditure of inbound tourists in Saudi Arabia reached 46 338.37 million USD.
These values come from a new data collection process using a single questionnaire. Since the new processing system is still being phased in, some data points may not completely reflect the final standards yet.
