Passenger transportation by air | Somalia – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Somalia in 2019 amounted to 34 066, which is 0.999% more than in 2018, when it was  33 729 passengers. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1970, the volume of air transport passengers has increased in 1.33 times. The lowest number was recorded in 2017, with a value of 4 486 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Somalia was in 2013, when it reached 258 336 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
