The gross savings of Serbia in 2023 amounted to 18 352 million USD, which is 34.3% more than in 2022, when it was  13 665 million USD. This is the first year of growth after a decline. Over the entire period of data from World Bank and OECD since 2007, this indicator has increased in 3.90 times. The lowest gross savings recorded in 2007, when it was 4 710 million USD. The maximum savings value of Serbia was in 2023, when it reached 18 352 million USD. Gross national savings is the total amount of income that a country’s residents save, rather than spend, during the year.
