The crude oil production in South Sudan in 2024 reached 78 907 barrels per day, which is 46.03% less than in 2023, when production volume was  146 210 b/d. It has been falling in this country for already 4 years in a row. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), since 2012, the annual production volume of oil (crude oil, NGPL, and other liquids) has increased in 3.46 times. The minimum of South Sudan was recorded in 2012, with a value of 22 812 barrels daily. The maximum crude oil poduction was in 2020, when it reached 162 531 b/d.
