Suicide mortality rate | South Sudan – yearly data, chart and table

Suicide mortality rate in South Sudan amounted to 7.89 per 100,000 population in 2021, which is 3.41% more than in 2020, when it was  7.63. It has been growing in this country for already 10 years in a row. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, this indicator has increased in 1.54 times. The highest number of suicide deaths was in 2021, when it reached 7.89 per 100,000 population. The minimum of South Sudan was recorded in 2002, with a value of 4.59 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.
