Proportion of underweight people (BMI less than 18.5 kg/m²) in Slovak Republic in 2022 amounted to 2.74% of the adult population (18 years and over). In 2021, the value was  2.72%. This is the first year of growth after a decline. Since 1990, for the whole period of WHO statistics, the prevalence of underweight among adults in Slovak Republic has increased in 1.04 times. The highest number of  underweight people was in 2002, when it reached 2.85%. The minimum was recorded in 1990, with a value of 2.64% of total adult population of Slovak Republic.
