Passenger transportation by air | Slovenia – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Slovenia in 2021 amounted to 21 037, which is 73.22% less than in 2020, when it was  78 565 passengers. It has been falling in this country for already 3 years in a row. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1992, the volume of air transport passengers has decreased in 8.96 times. The lowest number was recorded in 2021, with a value of 21 037 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Slovenia was in 2008, when it reached 1 103 685 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
