Outbound tourism departures | Thailand – yearly data, chart and table

The outbound tourism departures from Thailand in 2021 amounted to 33 000, which is 98.07% less than in 2020, when it was  1 706 000 departures. It has been falling in this country for already 2 years in a row. Over the entire period of data from the UNWTO since 1995, this indicator has decreased in 55.15 times. The lowest annual international tourist flow was recorded in 2021, when it was 33 000 departures. The highest value was in 2019, when the outbound tourism departures from Thailand reached 10 446 000.
These values come from a new data collection process using a single questionnaire. Since the new processing system is still being phased in, some data points may not completely reflect the final standards yet.
