Number of deaths caused by tuberculosis in Turkmenistan in 2023 amounted to 750, which is 1.35% more than in 2022, when it was 740 cases. It has been growing in this country for already 8 years in a row. Since 2000, for the whole period of WHO statistics, the annual TB mortality in Turkmenistan has decreased in 1.47 times. The highest mortality rate was in 2001, when it reached 1 100 deaths. The minimum of Turkmenistan was recorded in 2013, with a value of 510 cases. All values are approximate.
