The total reserves of Tunisia in 2024 amounted to 9 344 million USD, which is 1.12% more than in 2023, when it was 9 240 million USD. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Over the entire data period of International Monetary Fund (IMF), since 1950, this indicator has increased in 155.73 times. The lowest reserves was recorded in 1966, when it was 28 million USD. The maximum value of Tunisia was in 2009, when total reserves including gold reached 11 294 million USD.

Total reserves comprise holdings of monetary gold, special drawing rights, reserves of IMF members held by the IMF, and holdings of foreign exchange under the control of monetary authorities. The gold component of these reserves is valued at year-end (December 31) London prices.
