Crude steel production of Taiwan Province of China in 2024 amounted to 19 100 000 tons, which is 0.845% more than in 2023, when it was  18 940 000 tons. This is the first year of growth after a decline. According to the World Steel Association data, since 1970, the volume of steel production has increased in 64.97 times. The minimum production of crude steel was recorded in 1970, with a value of 294 000 tons. The maximum in Taiwan Province of China was in 2018, when it reached 23 240 461 tons.
