The total reserves of Ukraine in 2024 amounted to 43 781 million USD, which is 8.07% more than in 2023, when it was 40 510 million USD. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. Over the entire data period of International Monetary Fund (IMF), since 1992, this indicator has increased in 93.37 times. The lowest reserves was recorded in 1993, when it was 166 million USD. The maximum value of Ukraine was in 2024, when total reserves including gold reached 43 781 million USD.

Total reserves comprise holdings of monetary gold, special drawing rights, reserves of IMF members held by the IMF, and holdings of foreign exchange under the control of monetary authorities. The gold component of these reserves is valued at year-end (December 31) London prices.
