Passenger transportation by air | Venezuela – yearly data, chart and table

Number of passengers carried by air transport in Venezuela in 2021 amounted to 265 276, which is 6.44% less than in 2020, when it was  283 524 passengers. It has been falling in this country for already 7 years in a row. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) statistics, since 1970, the volume of air transport passengers has decreased in 4.72 times. The lowest number was recorded in 2021, with a value of 265 276 passengers. The maximum passengers by air transport in Venezuela was in 1989, when it reached 10 098 800 passengers. Air passengers carried include both domestic and international aircraft passengers of air carriers registered in the country.
