Arable land area | Vanuatu – yearly data, chart and table

Arable land area of Vanuatu in 2023 amounted to 20 000 ha, which is  exactly the same as in 2022, when it was also 20 000 ha. . According to the FAOSTAT data, since 1961, the area of arable land has increased in 2.00 times. The minimum arable land area recorded in 1964, with a value of 10 000 ha. The maximum of Vanuatu was in 2023, when it reached 20 000 ha. Arable land includes land defined by the FAO as land under temporary crops (double-cropped areas are counted once), temporary meadows for mowing or for pasture, land under market or kitchen gardens, and land temporarily fallow.
