Overview
The copper production of Zimbabwe in 2022 amounted to 10 168 tons, which is 17.55% more than in 2021, when it was 8 650 tons. It has been growing in this country for already 2 years in a row. According to the British Geological Survey statistics, since 1970, the annual volume of copper production has decreased in 2.36 times. The minimum was recorded in 2000, with a value of 558 tons. The maximum production of copper in Zimbabwe was in 1976, when it reached 48 186 tons.
