Unemployment rate | Zimbabwe

The unemployment rate in Zimbabwe in 2024 amounted to 8.55% of total labor force. In 2023, the value was  8.76%. It has been falling in this country for already 2 years in a row. Over the entire period of ILOSTAT data since 1991, this indicator has increased in 1.78 times. The lowest percentage of unemployed was recorded in 2004, when it was 4.39. The maximum was in 2022, when number of unempoyed persons in Zimbabwe reached 10.09 % of total labor force.
